Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how 10ex dev, LLC ("10ex dev", "we", "us") handles information when you use RetainLayer. We aim to collect only what we need to run the service, and we do not sell your data.

Data handling at a glance

  • Read-only, least-privilege access. We request the narrowest scopes needed to read your connected tools, and we don't send email, modify tickets, or write to your systems. You can disconnect any integration at any time, which stops further access.
  • Encrypted in transit and at rest. Traffic is protected with TLS, stored data is encrypted at rest, and your integration credentials are additionally encrypted with a dedicated application key.
  • We never train models on your data. Neither we nor the AI providers we use train any models on your content. Analysis providers process your data only to return a result to you, under contract.
  • Scoped to your organization, hosted in the US. Your data is isolated per organization and runs on US-based cloud infrastructure (AWS). You can export or delete it at any time.

1. Information we collect

We collect:

  • Account information, such as your name, email, organization, and login credentials.
  • Connected data that you choose to bring in through integrations, such as emails, meeting notes and transcripts, support tickets, and project activity.
  • Billing information, handled by our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Usage data, such as how you interact with the product, for security and to improve the service.

2. How we use information

We use your information to provide RetainLayer: to attribute interactions to the right clients, analyze them for retention risk, surface signals and summaries, and operate, secure, and improve the service. We use connected data on your behalf, to give you insight into your own relationships.

3. AI processing

To analyze your data, we send relevant content to third-party AI model providers that process it on our behalf and under contract. We send only what is needed for a given analysis, and we do not permit these providers to use your content to train their models.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your data. We share information only with service providers (sub-processors) that help us run RetainLayer, such as cloud hosting, our email-delivery provider, our payment processor, and the AI providers described above. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the service and our users.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When you close your account, we delete or de-identify your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations.

6. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption of credentials and access controls scoped to your organization. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to limit what leaves our environment.

7. Your choices and rights

You can access and update your account information, disconnect integrations at any time, and request export or deletion of your data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information.

8. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that are necessary to sign you in and keep your session secure. We do not use advertising cookies.

9. Children

RetainLayer is a business product and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
